Acceptance is key…

Well, I don’t vent or complain online hardly at all, since it’s very easy for misinterpretation, and assumptions to happen. Though, I’m not Prozac overzealous happy either online. I have to work very hard at times to stay on top of 11 separate, yet treatable medical conditions. That last sentence is why I founded Decide 2 Evolve in 2015 after six years of dreaming about its concept.
“Just the facts mam”, “well, uh, um”, only a portion of the physical medical conditions – In 1989, I tor my lumber muscles above my left SI hip joint. I’ve been struggling with chronic (at times disabling) lower back and right hip pain and weakness since. As with all of us with chronic medical conditions, I feel if we wanna live well, we need to advocate and trial and error find what will work for us, as an individual. For me – treatment and management are a combo of meds, supplements, exercise, chiropractic adjustments, inversion table, braces, peer support, etc, etc… Additionally, the pain stems from two birth defects that were missed by my parents and denied by myself until about age 35, that’s almost 13 years ago, or now as some of us refer to this term/belief/lifestyle – “#recovery” …
The last three months have been debilitating and taxing to my chronic fatigue syndrome and overall mental wellbeing. I’ve been having a very difficult time having injured an arthritic hip joint then having a treatment plan last week backfire on me with the goal to strengthen that medical condition, only to injury the original 1989 lumber muscle tear.
I’ll end this novel with this – it’s a well-known phrase “what doesn’t kill us, only makes us stronger.” Well, it tends to have me bitching about acceptance to the reflection in the mirror also!

Do the best we can… Acceptance is…
